Ricardo “Ricky” Peña spent over a decade as a refrigeration mechanic keeping refrigerated trailers running for a trucking company near the World Trade Bridge, where a compressor failure meant a trailer full of cargo going bad — not a problem that waits until Monday. On the side, he’d been fixing neighbors’ refrigerators and dryers for years, and by the time the side work outgrew his hours at the yard, he went full-time into residential appliance repair.
That same standard runs the business today: diagnose before quoting, explain what’s actually wrong in plain language, and give a flat price before any work starts — in English or Spanish.
